"Analog" is a song by American rapper Tyler, The Creator from his second studio album Goblin. The song features guest vocals from fellow Odd Future member Hodgy Beats who performs the song's first verse, with Tyler performing the hook and the song's second verse.

Background

"Analog" is an R&B inspired track with lyrics about picnicking by a lake during the summer and watching the sunset.[1] The song's first verse is performed by Hodgy Beats while the second verse, hook and outro is performed by Tyler.

On many occasions, Tyler has stated that he would like to film a video for the song. During an interview with DJ Semtex, he stated that he would've filmed a music video for the song during the summer, but that his cast prevented him from doing it.[2]

Tyler later stated on his Formspring account that there his a chance that he may shoot a music video for the song in December, 2011.[3]

On July 3, 2011, Tyler released an hour-and-a-half mixtape called the Summer Camp Mix under the alias DJ Stank Daddy.[4] An untitled track rumored to be "Analog 2" was included as track number 15 in the mix.[5] Two days after the mixtape was released, Tyler confirmed on his Twitter that the song was, in fact, "Analog 2".[5][6] Tyler has stated that the chords from "Analog 2" make him "so happy".[7]
